The film is emotionally riveting for those who remember ... interesting and informative for those who missed the marvel that was the Automat. The book and its recipes warm the heart and tastebuds. The Automats were not only a technological marvel of their day. The food was high quality, freshly prepared and inexpensively priced. The variety of options would make the Cheesecake Factory's menu look modest. Thanks for bringing the Automats alive again. (Well ... almost alive.)
