The Kitchn Article That Sold Out Our Coffee

Horn & Hardart has always been synonymous with innovation and quality, especially when it comes to coffee. Since our founding in 1888, our coffee has been a staple, famously served through whimsical brass dolphin spouts at the Automats. Now, that same beloved coffee is winning over a new generation of fans.

Recently, the kitchn spotlighted our coffee in an article, and the response has been overwhelming! Check at the full story on their site: I Tried This Iconic 135-Year-Old Coffee, and It's All I'm Drinking from Now on

Thanks to this review, we are humbled to share that our Whole Bean Medium Roast is sold out, and our Dark Roast is almost gone, too!*

The outpouring of enthusiasm we’ve received is a testament to the enduring power of Horn & Hardart’s legacy. The passion and nostalgia from those who remember the Automats, combined with the curiosity of a new generation discovering Horn & Hardart for the first time, have created an unprecedented demand. We are overjoyed to witness the resurgence of excitement for Horn & Hardart.

What’s Next?

Though our Whole Bean Medium Roast is sold out and dark roast ground and whole bean stock are both extremely low, we’ll be fully restocked by early November. We’ve packed every single bag we have and are waiting for more packaging to arrive so we can fill them with our freshly roasted beans.

Stay tuned by signing up for restock alerts, and as a thank-you, we’ll give you free shipping on your next order once we're fully restocked.

Thank you to everyone who’s joined us on this journey to bring Horn & Hardart back to life. We’re thrilled to see so many people excited about our coffee, and we can’t wait to share more of it with you soon.

Let’s keep the legacy brewing!
