    History in hand

    Not only is this cup well designed but it holds the coffee I purchased from the famous HORN & HARDART. If you put that cup on a tee shirt I will buy two.

    A piece of history

    Many lifetimes ago, when I was young, I used to take a certain young lady to the automat by Grand Central for pie after school. It was the high point of our day. We also enjoyed the coffee from the dolphin head spouts. Our romance withered, as so many do, but I treasure those memories.

    If you do open another Automat in NYC, I will do my damnedest to get her to go have one more piece of pie with me, for old time sake. I’m no longer 12, I’m almost 70, and she’s no longer 11, but certain memories deserve a second chance.
